You may not know this—and we didn’t either—but it’s very challenging for bow hunters to maintain their grip on the bow when the weather turns bitterly cold as it virtually always does during hunting season.

Briner Manufacturing Corporation, a small company in upstate New York, came up with an idea to help. The DragonFire Thermo Grip is a heated bow grip that keeps hunters’ fingers warm enough to prevent stiffening, discomfort and even frostbite on frigid winter days.

Briner turned to KrausCreative to help bring the DragonFire Thermo Grip to market, and Kraus responded with dynamic packaging and promotional materials that tell DragonFire’s story to sports market retailers. When Briner attended the hunting industry’s biggest trade show and introduced DragonFire to the bow hunting audience, lines formed at the Briner booth and consumers applauded the innovative solution.

By day’s end, Pape’s Inc., the leading mail order and Web marketing company for archery equipment, snapped up DragonFire for its summer catalog.
